Head of Technology, Fintech

Our global fintech client is looking to hire a Head of Technology. This is a newly created role, reporting to the CEO, which has come from increasing financial successes and the need to significantly scale up the growing tech team.  The company provides SAP-based products and the ideal candidate will be an SAP expert who has since matured into more of a CTO / Head of Technology type of role or similar.

About the role:
This is a multi-faceted position with several diverse functions:

• Building the long term technology roadmap for the company
• Building up and leading a world-class technology team
• Creating a strong engineering and company culture
• Working closely with senior stakeholders and getting buy-in from the business on the technical strategy
• P&L responsibility
• Client-facing and senior pre-sales responsibilities

What we’re looking for:

• Must have a strong SAP background (ideally ECC6 and S/4 HANNA)
• Enterprise level ERP system integration, architecture and connectivity
• 5+ years in a Head of Engineering / Architecture role
• Strong understanding of different programming languages (e.g. NodeJs)  and cloud architecture (e.g. AWS). Please note, there will be no development in this role
• Have proven experience of developing and building up a technical / engineering team
